Give Today and Ignite Purpose

Help us raise $5,000 this Giving Tuesday. We have a match that will double your donation dollars.

This past year, we served 286 students across 5 schools and 64 workplaces in Boston.

We believe in launching dreams for our city’s youth.

Through real-world work experiences, eighth graders take hold of opportunities and pursue their passions to gain a sense of purpose. Apprentice Learning opens doors to success from summer jobs to high school, college, and eventual careers.

This Giving Tuesday, help us raise $5,000 to support middle schoolers in Boston during a critical period in their lives.

We have received a donation of $2,500 and want to match it with an additional $2,500 from you. Your donations go directly to students’ needs and enable us to run our programs

$50 = Classroom supplies for one group of apprentices

Folders, pencils, name tags, snacks, paper and printing supplies all go into getting a young person ready for work.

$125 = A Week of Hearty Lunches

Please pass the mayo! Kids love the sandwiches we make for them! Before work, we feed students so they can do their best. Kids at this age of rapidly developing and many if not most, do not eat breakfast or lunch. $625 funds a semester’s worth of sandwiches, drinks, chips or cookies, and a piece of fresh fruit.

$320 = Outfit 10 apprentices with a professional look

Apprentice Learning provides every apprentice with a pullover to help them feel and look professional during their apprenticeships.

$500 = A summer stipend for a City Summer Intern

City Summer Internship is a five-week paid career exploration internship for rising ninth graders. Interns earn a weekly stipend to explore a wide variety of careers throughout the city of Boston. In 2019 the program was located at Urban College. Weekly salary is incentivized to promote punctuality.  Support one, two or five weeks for one City Summer Intern.
