Our Worksite Partners

Our experienced team matches the students to your business. Apprentice Learning’s unique approach guides you to provide an impactful experience that can ignite a sense of purpose, deepen skills and broaden a young person’s sense of their future in our community.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have transitioned all of our apprenticeships to the virtual space.  We have an opportunity to introduce our young people to the many, many careers that have become work-from-home jobs. There are new technical and interpersonal skills to learn along with opening new doors of opportunity in a wide array of career fields.  This summer and fall, the following individuals and businesses have generously pioneered virtual career apprenticeships. We are enormously grateful for their commitment to young people and to Apprentice Learning:

Baker-Hughes, Boston Society for Architects, Foley Hoag LLC, HubSpot, MIT Media Lab, NorthStar Asset Management, Related Beal, Slalom Boston, Unity Farm Sanctuary, Greg Allen, actor, and Jenny Hughes, artist educator.

The listing below represents our participating “in person” business partners. We are grateful for their continued support and look forward to visiting in the future.

Our Partner Schools

Participating schools make time during the academic school day for all eighth graders to participate in Apprentice Learning’s programming. Each school incorporates the program into an eighth grader’s evaluation: as a grade on a report card or as a part of a graduation portfolio. Our team works closely with the middle school teaching team to support students and families both in an out of the classroom.
