
7th grade students and teachers from the Dearborn Stem Academy and from Margarita Muñiz Academy were greeted by Apprentice Learning staff and more than 15 Career Mentors at the Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute. Representing 15 different industries and fields, the Career Mentors engaged students with hands-on activities that sparked creativity, curiosity and interest in a wide range of career paths. This year, marks the third Career Expo supported by a grant from EdVestors.

120 students and their teachers arrived at the Benjamin Franklin Cummings Institute to meet with Career Mentors for the Apprentice Learning Career Extravaganza on June 4th. Students shared reflections about their experiences. One student said, “I enjoyed getting to design. I’m interested in learning why and how buildings are built the way they are.”
